Another Friday, so another week gone and the clock is ticking to my Death Valley trip!

I had a really good catch up on Wednesday with Rob, the brains and energy behind the Edward Starr Charitable Trust - great to see him and greatt to feed off his energy. Talking of which, do check out his blog via the trust website www.starrtrust.com. Rob is doing a monumental swim challenge and it's really deserving of everyone's support.

I did a sponsors post last time, but didn't have all the logos, so here's another one for now (more will follow). Bungards has been really supportive and generous, so my thanks to them - it's really appreciated. Although I seem to have a few funeral directors supporting me (hoping for business?!) I have only approached the ones we use and like and I encourage you all to do the same, if teh circumstances present themselves. Check out Bungard's website.

Well, I have had a bit of an admin splurge - the passport is renewed, ESTA (visa) is in place, insurance sorted and I've started thinking about what stuff I'll need to take. I have handed over some of the sponsorship money to the Starr Trust (that has been raised offline) (we're nearly at £4,000 by the way) and I've put in place my sponsor's jersey - a couple more logos to go and I can get it printed. Anyone want to fill up some space? If you're interested please let me know.

I will have some more exciting news to give (probably next week) which should have a brilliant impact on my challenge!
