...well not quite. I've had to calm down on the cycling though. I always planned to have a bit of a rest over the Easter break, but it has been somewhat enforced due to sore quads (legs, not motorbikes or children).
I think it might be my bike set up, but I have traced the lack of power in my legs and subsequent pain to the very outside of each quad and it feels like it might be tendons or ligaments. Does anyone have any ideas? Anyway, I think I might get myself on a rolling road so my cycling posture can be looked at and the bike adjusted, if necessary. Of course, if it's not the bike, it's me - if so, I'm going to need some help with strength work, stretches, advice etc etc. So, suggestions please?
On the upside, I have a cool new gadget - my helmet cam has arrived fresh from China. It was an ebay steal and, although it was missing a USB lead and various other bits, I have got it going and it works a treat. The other day I attached it to my dog's collar to see what she got up to on her countryside walk - very funny to watch a dog's eye view of rabbit holes, cowpats and peoples' legs...
So any suggestions for my first formal video?
I have also taken possession of a Nike DriFit England rugby jersey for cycling. It's awesome and makes me look like I actually have muscles!
We are in the process of organising a summer event - more soon.
Also, the latest mailshot will shortly be going out - beware accountants and IFAs...!
